European passenger car market grew for the sixth consecutive month in January, posting +11.3% and totaling 760,041 units overall.
Amongst the biggest markets, Spain increased by 51.4%, followed by Italy (+19.0%, with 128,437 registrations) and France (+8.8%), while Germany slowed down (-2.6%).
Looking at the different fuel types, petrol was the most popular (37.9%), while electric and hybrid cars kept growing, respectively +9.5% and +26.0% of the market.
